_Welcome to the Lethal Newswire:


Design lectures at the University of Portsmouth, a new studio, the world's largest music festival in Texas, a musical call to arms for Parliament, hosting a fundraiser for OxJam, a digital campaign with 1.5 million views, helping to Save The 100 Club and our work filmed on location in Los Angeles.

It's been about as quiet as a vuvuzela conference at the all-new Lethal HQ this year. As well as all that, we've established new client relationships with NME, Nokia, Pure Groove records and many more.

Whilst resisting the temptation to bombard you with puntastic e-cards and festive innuendo, we'd like to wish you a very Merry Christmas, a Happy New Year and we'll see you on the other side.

Thumb _NME Awards 2011:

NME has appointed us to design and art direct the core identity and supporting campaign for the Shockwaves NME Awards 2011. Taking place at O2 Academy Brixton on 23rd February, we were briefed to move away from the stereotypical rock n' roll look attributed to the NME, and to create a look and feel more in line with the new look magazine.

Based on graphic equalisers, we opted for a simple modular design that better represented the broad range of music championed by today's NME and thus could be adapted to incorporate the Awards, Shows, Tour and Big Gig elements that make up the full campaign.

_New Studio:

We've recently settled into our new office on London's Denmark Street, based at number 24 opposite the old Regent Studios where the Rolling Stones recorded their debut LP and Black Sabbath recorded 'Paranoid'. Feel free to pop by for a tour.

Following on from our work for Billy Bragg's Jail Guitar Doors and Breaking Rocks projects, we were asked to customise a guitar that was set for a starring role in 'Meeting Joe Strummer', a forthcoming documentary.

Amazing PR produce creative and innovative press campaigns for festivals, media outlets and fashion brands. They commissioned us to create a highly visual and no-nonsense website to showcase their impressive credentials.

_UK Music manifesto:

We created this brochure and launch invite for Feargal Sharkey's UK Music 'Liberating Creativity' report, designed to coincide with the new UK government's imminent arrival and provide guidelines for the future of the UK music industry.

_British Music at SXSW 2010:

Ever since 2003 we’ve been overseeing the annual creative campaign that accompanies over 100 British bands to Texas at the much revered SXSW festival. Now centred around the British Music Embassy, this year was the biggest yet.

_Alleycat Bar & Club:

Our neighbours at the Alleycat bar on Denmark Street recently approached us to rename, create and roll out their new identity and online presence. We opted for a strong typographic approach that paid homage to its location on Tin Pan Alley.

Working with word-of-mouth agency 1000 Heads, we developed an 'on the ground' pack for attendees at the Nokia World conference at London's Excel Centre as well a virtual attendee alternative for key bloggers and journalists.

_A Girl Called '030':

Our creative teaser and launch campaign for '030' (the latest release by The Good The Bad) helped to propel the music video to 1 million hits in one month. Directed by Jeppe Kolstrup. Press by Cannonball PR.
